City Victoria.- The Labor Conciliation Center in Tamaulipas is moving along the route of labor justice, having achieved a 84% case resolution rate in June, which means that eight out of ten issues are resolved through a satisfactory agreement. In addition, procedures are concluded on average in 20 calendar days, without having to exhaust the 45 days allowed by the Federal Labor Law.
This was announced by José Ives Soberón, general director of this public organization, pointing out that in Tamaulipas they strictly follow the instructions of Governor Américo Villarreal Anaya to put citizens at the center of services and maintain a high level of professionalism, working with deep love for Tamaulipas.
Labor justice in this entity had deteriorated, but with the implementation of the new labor justice model, citizen confidence in demanding rights in a conflict increased. This humanistic model favors the conciliation mechanism to put an end to labor disputes in a transparent, fair, and expeditious manner.
Ives Soberón pointed out that in the last 10 years, before the start of the reform, approximately 5,000 to 6,000 cases were received annually in the Conciliation and Arbitration Boards, which are now closed to new cases and only address the reduction of backlog.
In that sense, he specified that with the opening of the Labor Conciliation Centers, around 20,000 cases are received annually, which implies an increase of more than 300%, and can only be explained as a vote of confidence from the population in the humanistic labor justice provided by this administration.
«We are building a labor justice system that we hope will be in force for the next 100 years. It is a great responsibility that we thank Governor Américo Villarreal Anaya for granting us, and that is why we are focused on establishing a transparent and professional work scheme with zero tolerance for corruption.»
